Honda first introduced the Cross Cub 110 motorcycle / mini bike at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show and then it hit the production line overseas in 2018. They made a couple of slight changes to it in 2020 and here we are for 2021 with Honda mixing it up a little bit. You have this new Puco Blue color above on the 2021 Cross Cub 110 and it’s limited to only 2,000 units! Surprisingly the price stays the same whether you go for one of the standard color options or the limited run color. How much does the 2021 Cross Cub 110 cost? Only 341,000 yen! Here’s Honda’s official description The CROSS CUB 110 pursues a leg shield-less active style with the “Cross Over Cub Styling” theme. The styling emphasizes a tougher, more leisure-oriented image, with an LED headlight and specially-designed headlight guard, steel front fender, front and rear black rims, and fatter tires with a deeper tread pattern. The handlebars have also been reshaped for a more upright riding posture that allows for better visibility, while the unique seat cushion is thicker for greater comfort over long distances. With bold crossover styling that looks as good in town as off-road, and the ability to accommodate two riders, the Cross Cub makes an exciting new addition to the Cub lineup. May 10, 2022 at 404pm ET 3 min read After Honda introduced its updated Super Cub 110 at the 38th annual Osaka Motorcycle Show in March, 2022, there was unsurprisingly a domino effect elsewhere in Cub-land. On April 14, 2022, the updated Cross Cub 110 first rolled into the public eye, hot on the heels of its cuddly bear of a Super Cub sibling. The new Honda Cross Cub comes in both 50cc and 110cc versions, each to suit your particular needs. Back in 2021, Honda made a splash in Japan with a limited edition Puko Blue livery for its Cross Cub 110 line, but now that color joins the lineup on the new Cross Cub 110 as a regular option. Another classic favorite Honda special-edition livery is back as a regular option for both the Cross Cub 50 and the Cross Cub 110, as well. Remember Kumamon, the adorable bear mascot of Japan’s Kumamoto Prefecture? He’s graced multiple special edition Honda bikes in the past Cross Cub, Monkey, Giorno, and since the public still loves him very much, he can now be found on both displacements of the new Cross Cub as well. Gallery 2022 Honda Cross Cub 50 and Cross Cub 110 Disc brakes, ABS, cast wheels with tubeless tires, and that dual-sport look after all, “Cross Cub” is short for “Crossover Cub” could just make this the particular Honda Cub you’re looking for if you live in Japan. The Hunter Cub 125 fills a similar role and aesthetic at a larger point of displacement, but since tiered licensing structures work differently in different countries, models like the Cross Cub 50 and 110 are there to scratch your quasi-dual-sport Cub itch at multiple displacement levels. Both the Cross Cub 50 and Cross Cub 110 feature air-cooled, overhead cam, single-cylinder engines. The CC50 boasts a 49cc unit with bore and stroke of x making a claimed horsepower at 7,500 rpm and pound-feet of torque at 5,500 rpm. Meanwhile, the CC110 gets a 109cc mill with bore and stroke of x making a claimed horsepower at 7,500 rpm and pound-feet of torque at 5,500 rpm. The Cross Cubs both offer electric and kick starting as an option. Suspension on both consists of a telescopic fork up front and a swingarm in the rear. The CC50 rolls on a pair of 14-inch cast wheels, while the CC110 gets a pair of 17-inch cast wheels. The CC110 gets ABS, while the CC50 does not. Cross Cub 50 comes in your choice of Camouflage Green, Classic White, or the Graphite Black Kumamon Edition. Meanwhile, the Cross Cub 110 comes in Matt Armored Green Metallic, Pearl Deep Mud Grey, Puco Blue, or the Kumamon-edition Graphite Black. Prices start at ¥297,000 about $2,278 for the base CC50 and range up to ¥374,000 about $2,869 for the Kumamon Edition CC110. For the moment, these Cross Cubs have only been announced for the Japanese market. However, the Cross Cub has been popular in other Asian markets as well, so we won’t be surprised when they show up elsewhere in Asia. More Honda News Mar 20, 2019 at 749pm ET 2 min read Sometimes you want to go somewhere on your motorcycle but you have to carry stuff that’s large or awkward. Sometimes that means you make provisions like specific luggage or extra tie downs, and sometimes it means a full custom rebuild. Of a Honda Cub. CUSTOM INSPIRATION This one-off custom build comes from the brains of a moto-journalist who is also a dedicated fisherman and, apparently erstwhile adventurer. He chose the Japanese-market-only Cross Cub, a spinoff of the Super Cub that is slightly more ruggedized less bodywork, knobbier tires. This one, though, gets extra off-road treatment in the repositioning of its exhaust from running under the bike to a scrambler style high pipe. This leaves the underside free of encumbrances so that the builder was able to fit a good bash plate, mounted on a crash bar that doubles as a frame member. This bike has a front rack with headlight protection, as well as rear and mid luggage racks. Remember it’s a step-through so that middle bit of frame can also be used for extra luggage. While some of this is totally custom, many parts of it are available for purchase on the Japanese market, making this a do-it-yourselfer’s dream. You can just bolt parts onto your own Cross Cub, if you live in Japan, and take this thing fishing and camping too! It’s light enough that it’s probably a real hoot on dirt roads. This cross-cub has a 110cc motor, but if you live in the US and you are dedicated, you can buy yourself a 2019, 125cc Super Cub and use this build as inspiration for your own. This machine was on display at the Japan Fishing show in January, where it drew attention for being simultaneously useful and adorable. It will be on display again at the Tokyo Motor Show on March 22-24, 2019. “Outdoor enjoyment specification is completed!” Hopefully the Super Cub will sell well enough here in the states to draw a following and inspire customization projects like this one. Source Young Machine By Rahul Ghosh Honda first introduced the Cross Cub in international markets in 2018. Now the company has revealed a rather interesting limited edition 2021 Honda Cross Cub 110. Only 2,000 units will be produced in this spec. The Cross Cub 110 special edition retains its offroad ready looks and then gets additional features starting with the special Puco Blue paint scheme. The Cross Cub 110 uses black as a contrast, including the wheel rims, seat, absorber springs, handlebars and rear rack. Meanwhile, the engine and fork legs are painted silver, with a chrome exhaust guard styled like the units on scramblers in the 1970s. Very interesting! The headlight gets a crash guard as well which is painted in body colour. The Cross Cub 110 also comes with LED lights and block pattern tyres to suit its off-road bike looks. The bike also comes with a single seat and rear carrier as the Cross Cub 110 is a 109cc fuel injected motor which churns out 8bhp7,500rpm and of torque at 5,500rpm. The bike weighs in at a rather light 106kg and with a low seat height of 784mm, it comes within the reach of all. Needless to say this particular motorcycle or moped if we may dare call it is a fun machine, and we would love to see it in India.
